Joe’s journey began with dog walking in 2008. Before starting WalkerScout, his most significant career accomplishment occurred in 2018 when the dog walking team he recruited performed over 60,000 dog walks.

WalkerScout was inspired by Joe’s time with a recruitment process outsourcer servicing the airline industry and his success building pet-care teams in Chicago. Joe saw the opportunity to better serve the pet care community by creating the first national recruiting solution designed for the pet care industry. In 2019, Joe began hiring for growing businesses in Illinois, California, and New York. Since 2023, Joe has had public speaking engagements at the NAPPS, FPSA, IBPSA, and Pet Boarding and Daycare conferences. Joe has published an article with PSI. In 2024, Joe was invited to join an elite group of pet care industry experts with the PIN Network.

With the support of a fantastic team of recruiters, WalkerScout has performed thousands of interviews, helped hire hundreds of pet care professionals, and generated millions of dollars of revenue for its clients. The goal is to keep animals safe, give candidates a fair opportunity, and provide a strong return on investment for small business owners.
